Campus Weather Service

Picture
Penn State's Campus Weather Service is a student run organization within the Department of Meteorology. They are provide forecasts and broadcasts (radio and video) to various outlets throughout the calendar year. Their products not only reach the Penn State/State College community, but the entire state of Pennsylvania and beyond. These services are free to the general public, and have been for the 40 years of its existence. I have been on both forecasting and broadcasting shifts, in addition to recording CNET broadcasts and ComRadio (campus radio station).

Student Government

Picture
The Association of Residence Hall Students (ARHS) is the governing force for on-campus students. This organization coordinates events and activities to enhance the students' experience while living on campus. The six on-campus residence areas work with each other in order to affect each student's life. My sophomore year, I was chosen as floor representative for the South Halls Residence Association (SHRA). My junior year I was elected SHRA secretary. And now, in my senior year, I am the President of the Pollock Halls Residence Association (PHRA).

For more information on ARHS click here.

Due to my involvement with student government, I was inducted into the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) - Nittany Chapter in December 2014. For more information on the Nittany Chapter click here.
